Visibuy Privacy Policy
Effective Date: Monday, 17th August 2026
Visibuy Technology Limited (“Visibuy,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides visual verification technology for agentic commerce.
Our technology uses cameras and artificial intelligence to observe physical products during fulfillment and determine whether the physical item corresponds to what a customer or an AI agent intended to purchase.
This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, when we share it, how we protect it, and the choices available to you.
Visibuy is registered in Nigeria and is primarily governed by the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 (NDPA) and applicable Nigerian data-protection requirements. Where other privacy laws apply to people who use our services, including applicable U.S. state privacy laws, we will provide the rights and protections required by those laws.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information that is necessary to operate Visibuy and provide our services.
Business and account information
When you request access to or use Visibuy, we may collect:
- Business name
- Business email address
- Account information
- Fulfillment setup
- Subscription information
- Contact information you provide to us
- Communications between you and Visibuy
Physical-item information observed through cameras
Our core service uses cameras as a way of observing the physical world.
Depending on the service you use, Visibuy may process information derived from the physical item being observed, including:
- The physical appearance of the item
- Visible characteristics of the item
- Product type and identifiable characteristics
- Visible markings or information on the item
- Physical condition that can reasonably be observed
- The relationship between the observed physical item and the product being evaluated
- The date and timestamp of an observation
- The result generated from the observation
- Other information necessary to determine whether the observed physical item corresponds to the intended product
The specific information observed depends on the product, camera setup, lighting, capture conditions, and verification capabilities available at the time.
Visibuy does not claim that every characteristic of every physical item can be determined through visual observation.
Device, camera and environment information
Depending on how Visibuy is deployed, physical items may be observed through different camera and vision systems, including smartphone cameras, fixed camera stands, smart glasses, industrial cameras, robotics-mounted cameras, humanoid robot cameras, and other supported devices.
We may collect technical information associated with the device or camera used for an observation, such as device type, camera type, software or firmware information where available, capture conditions, and the date and timestamp of the observation.
Depending on the device, configuration, and features enabled, we may also collect location information associated with an observation, including approximate or precise location where permitted and necessary for the service.
We may also collect information about the merchant's commerce and fulfillment environment, including the platforms, marketplaces, websites, social-commerce channels, or other channels through which the merchant sells or fulfills physical products.
Product listing information
To compare an observed physical item with what is intended to be purchased, Visibuy may process information associated with the relevant product listing, including information such as:
- Product name
- Product variant
- Product attributes
- Price
- Seller information
- Order information
- Other information provided by the merchant, customer, commerce platform, or connected system

3. Artificial Intelligence and Computer Vision
Visibuy uses artificial intelligence, computer vision, machine-learning systems, and related technologies to interpret information observed through cameras.
The technology may process physical-item observations to determine characteristics of the item and compare those observations with product information associated with a purchase or fulfillment process.
For example, the system may be used to determine whether:
The physical item being observed corresponds to the product that a customer or AI agent intended to purchase.
AI systems can make mistakes. A Visibuy result should therefore be understood as the result of the technology's analysis based on the information it could observe and process at that time.
4. Use of AI Providers and Technology Providers
To operate Visibuy, we may use third-party technology providers, including providers of:
- Artificial intelligence and machine-learning models
- Computer-vision technology
- Cloud computing
- Data storage
- Security infrastructure
- Payment processing
- Communications
- Analytics
- Software infrastructure
- Other services necessary to operate Visibuy
Where necessary to provide our services, information observed through Visibuy's camera systems and other information required for processing may be transmitted to these providers.
For example, an AI or computer-vision provider may process information about a physical item in order to help Visibuy analyze what the camera system observed.
We select providers based on the services they provide and seek appropriate contractual, technical, and organizational protections for information processed on our behalf.
Visibuy does not sell your personal information to AI providers.
Where a third-party AI provider processes information on Visibuy's behalf, the provider is authorized to process that information for the applicable service and under the relevant contractual and legal controls.
Unless we separately disclose otherwise or obtain an appropriate legal basis, we do not represent that information collected through the Visibuy service will be provided to AI providers for unrestricted training of their general-purpose models.
5. How We Share Information
We may share information with organizations that help us provide and operate Visibuy.
These may include:
Technology providers
AI providers, cloud providers, computer-vision providers, hosting providers, storage providers, security providers, analytics providers, and other infrastructure providers.

Business transfers
If Visibuy is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, restructuring, sale of assets, or similar transaction, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to applicable law and appropriate protections.
We do not sell personal information as a business model.
6. Information Shared With AI Agents and Commerce Systems
Visibuy may support integrations with AI agents, commerce platforms, merchants, and other systems.
Where an authorized integration requests information about a physical-item observation, Visibuy may provide relevant information necessary for that integration.
Depending on the service, this may include:
- Physical-item observation results
- Product-match results
- Relevant evidence
- Timestamp
- Information about the verification event
- Other information necessary to support the requested commerce interaction
We seek to limit information shared through integrations to what is reasonably necessary for the applicable purpose.
7. International Data Processing

As a result, information may be processed or stored outside Nigeria.
Where personal data is transferred outside Nigeria, Visibuy will use the lawful transfer mechanisms and safeguards required by applicable Nigerian data-protection law.

9. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, loss, misuse, or destruction.
These measures may include access controls, authentication, encryption where appropriate, monitoring, secure infrastructure, and security procedures.
No internet-connected service can guarantee absolute security. We therefore cannot guarantee that information will never be accessed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed through circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
